It can host a control module as well as several relay modules, logic input modules and analog in- / output modules which are connected via internal backplane. The DCS 400 has CE marking as well as UL and CSA recognition.
The module is meant for insertion on the rear of the DCS 400 rack frame providing shielding between DCS 408R and DCS 409R modules
The module provides switching for audio signals (line level) or control outputs independent from the DCS 400 system
These modules provide relay contact closures for use in switching audio or other control functions

The DCS 422R is a NF input switching with pilot tone generation and summation
The DCS 423R is a slide-in module with 4 relays for 100 V switching of the power amplifier outputs with pilot tone evaluation
