DYNACORD.DISCOVERY.DAYS final at the Prolight+Sound 2012

Frankfurt am Main / Straubing, May 2012 It had lasted a full year:  DYNACORD.DISCOVERY.DAYS (D.D.D.), the social media campaign run jointly with the musicians' magazine Soundcheck. Twelve months in which up-and-coming bands had been able to test complete DYNACORD PA systems in live performance and make themselves known to a wider public through their music and Facebook presence. Finally, at the Prolight+Sound 2012 in Frankfurt, the winners were announced: Revolving Door of Thuringia (Germany), a young rock quintet that had convinced the jury of experts both musically and through their social media activities. The jury comprised DYNACORD's Social Media Team, the editors of Soundcheck and Reamonn guitarist Uwe Bossert, who was also the campaign's patron. "It wasn't an easy choice to make," admitted Bossert, "as the standard of the bands was astoundingly high, but in Revolving Door, I feel, we have found a worthy winner."

And certainly a band with potential. Before the Prolight+Sound trade show was even over, the rock hopefuls from Thuringia had already signed their first recording contract with the rock and metal label Fastball Music (distributor: Sony Music). "Revolving Door is one of the busiest up-and-coming bands in Germany," commented label boss Andreas Bob. "We're very proud to have signed these five talented musicians."

From now on, Revolving Door's excellence in live performance will be heard to its best acoustic advantage. As winners of the DYNACORD DISCOVERY DAYS competition, the group took home the first prize, a complete DYNACORD PA (2 x D11A, 2 x PowerSub 212, 1 x CMS 1600-3).
