Norwegian rock band RETURN on DVD – with DYNACORD

Straubing/Hamar, July 2007 For over 20 years, Return has been one of the leading bands on the Norwegian rock scene. Their quality was recently underlined by a live DVD recorded in the Theatre in Hamar.

To ensure that the sound satisfied the very highest standards, the band – along with music dealers 3K Musikk and the Norwegian DYNACORD partner MultiTechnic – opted for an active 4-way system, the COBRA-4. With good reason: the band has long enjoyed great success touring with just this compact line-array system and DYNACORD‘s Xa2-System.

The COBRA and the outstanding acoustics of the Theatre in Hamar conspired to make the show one of the highlights of FOH Engineer Frode Hermansen's illustrious career. "A few quick tweaks on the EQ and everything went perfectly," recalls the celebrated sound engineer.

MultiTechnic's Sales Manager Erik Landsem was also there. His verdict: "A superb band, a top-flight sound engineer, an outstanding system – what could go wrong?" Nothing, evidently, and nothing did. Landsem was particularly impressed by the transparency of the COBRA system: "You could hear every nuance of the vocal passages as well as every note of the subtle acoustic guitar arrangements. Once more, I was utterly convinced by the COBRA."

Return – a chapter of Norwegian musical history

Since the late Eighties, Return has been one of the top acts on the Norwegian rock scene. After taking a break in Nineties, the group made a triumphant comeback in 2000. Their subsequent releases have enthused the critics and public alike, whilst their live performances invariably sell out.
