DYNACORD presents the Switchmode Precision Series

Home / News / New products / DYNACORD presents the Switchmode Precision Series

Designed to satisfy the highest professional standards, the new Switchmode Precision series from DYNACORD comprises three models, the LX1600, LX2200 and LX3000, that combine reliable power, easy handling — due not least to their extraordinary lightness (none of the new models weighs more than 9 kg) — and high quality reproduction.
The combination of an analogue class-H design with a state-of-the-art switching power supply brings many advantages, making it possible to build lightweight professional power amplifiers capable of delivering up to 2 x 1500 watts into 4 ohms. Even complex loads as low as 2 ohms can be driven with absolute reliability. Amp racks containing several LX power amplifiers for active multi-way use are therefore easy to manipulate.

The layout of the Switchmode Precision series power amplifiers is such as to satisfy all the demands of live performance: the Power, Protect, Signal and Limit LEDs combine with the dB-calibrated level controls on the front panel to provide a quick overview of the operating status, whilst robust electronically balanced XLR In/Out sockets are provided on the rear panel for direct operation with professional mixing consoles and signal processors.

The LX Switchmode Precision series at a glance:

LX 1600: With an output rated at 2 x 1300 watts into 2 ohms and 2 x 800 watts into 4 ohms, this is the ideal power amplifier for small to medium-sized full-range cabinets and MF/HF components in active multi-way systems.

LX 2200: With a stable output of 2 x 1600 watts into 2 ohms and 2 x 1100 watts into 4 ohms, this is the ideal amplifier for professional multi-way components as well as medium-sized subwoofers in concert sound systems.

LX 3000: The new flagship of the LX series delivers a mighty 2 x 2100 watts into 2 ohms and 2 x 1500 watts into 4 ohms and therefore has plenty of headroom for large subwoofer arrays.
